growing kids
So it has been a long time since I posted anything, but i have been busy. Busy cleaning the church, spending time with the kids and cleaning and doing laundry at the house. Im not really sure how we have so much laundry but we do. So much has changed with Mason in the last couple of months. He is such a happy baby, it does not take much to get him to giggle. If he is upset Baylie just looks at him and he is happy again. I love seeing Mason and Baylie together, because they get along so well right now. There is no fighting yet so I am trying to enjoy this time right now before it begins. Baylie is such a great big sister, she is willing to do anything for Mason, if he is crying she is the first to get him a toy. Baylie calls him Mason poo, or buddy, and is always giving him hugs and kissing him. Mason is eating solid food right now, so far his favorite is pears, and applesauce. He has rolled over once, he is a bit spoiled so there is no reason to roll over. If he wants something he cries and Baylie or I will get what he wants. He is just to cute to not help out. He will sit by himself for a minute and that is about it. He is just itching to run around with Baylie, but his time will come and Im in no hurry for this to happen.
Baylie is just a ball of energy. There is no walking with Baylie, everywhere she goes she runs. She can now sing Jesus loves me and Twinkle, Twinkle little star, we sing this often to Mason. She is just growing to quickly. She is getting into a stage where she is getting into everything. You just can not leave her alone anymore. The other day at the church she got into a trash can, found a piece of old gum and started chewing it, praise the lord she didnt get sick. One major issue we are having right now is when she is eating. She get more on her then she does in her mouth. I wonder if boys are worse. We just love having to kids in the family and are looking forward to making more memories.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving
Well this Thanksgiving was such a new experience for us in the Horrisberger household. We had such yummy food, and we got to visit with family. All was going good until about 630 when we finally got home. Baylie told us her stomach hurt, but we really didn't think much of it. Chris and Baylie were down stairs on the couch when she suddenly threw up all over him. Everyone always told me that cleaning up your children's throw up is much easier then cleaning up others. This is so true, all you can think about is if your child is going to be ok and you just plan feel sorry for them. At Baylie's age I'm not sure she really understood what was going on. She would just hold her mouth and say oh no, oh no. We have been very lucky, because this is truly the first time Baylie has ever been sick, and we praise God every day that we haven't had to deal with to many illnesses in our family yet. The one down side of Baylie being sick is she is now scared of the toilet, I guess this is just another hurdle we have to jump over.

So within the last couple of weeks my two year old daughter has been sporting a bit of a attitude. I'm not really sure if it is because of Mason, and now she is not the center of attention, or is it because she just turned two. She is still really good, but with a bit of a attitude. Here are some pictures of Baylie, telling me NO.
Baylie is ticked off because I'm taking her picture
She is still mad because of the picture taking

Weekend and Birthday Fun
Marc holding Mason for the first time, I think he needs to come and baby sit for me :)
She did so good opening all the cards.
Aunt Jenna and Uncle Adam bought her a tinkerbell outfit.
Then they made her put it on. Poor Baylie, but I think she secretly loved it.
Wow so this weekend was loaded with fun. On Friday my brother came to Ohio to visit us.We very rarely get to see him so it is always exciting when we get to spend time with him. So late that night my parents brought him over to see us. It was so nice to see Marc hold Mason, i don't think he minding holding him either, mostly because Marc could give him back. His baby knowledge it not really up to par, so some of his questions about babies were keeping us laughing.

wow! Has it been two years already
October 13th, 2 years ago my little princess was born. I can not believe how fast time has gone. Now she looks huge compared to Mason. It seems like yesterday she knew was turning two, because she was as hyper as I have ever seen her. This morning I decided to give her one of her presents since today is her actually birthday. (We are having a birthday party for her on Saturday). Baylie just loves books, everyone else in a room can be running around and playing and you will notice Baylie in the corner reading a book, making up words. So I decided to give her the a book called monkeys jumping on the bed. She was so excited this morning when she received the book, that all she wanted to do is read it to Mason, and then Jump on her bed. I love getting simple gifts that Baylie actually enjoys. Sorry the pictures are bad, but I'm trying to figure out this camera and forgot to put the flash on.
Baylie thought she was sneaking a bit of dough with out me seeing her. Hahah I caught her.
Baylie helping me roll the cookies in the sugar, what a big helper :)
I think She enjoyed the cookie very much.

it is worth it!
I did not progress at all, I was really fearing a c-section becase the doctor started showing concerns that maybe the baby was to big to come down. I know I had eaten a bit to much dairy queen ice cream cake on occasions so my first thought was great look what you did Missy. At around 9 I had my epiderial because the pain really started coming and who wants to feel that. That had to be the worst pain of it all. Not the epidural, but while they were putting it in I went from 3cm to 7 cm, but thank goodness for that epidural because the pain was ok a hour later. I could still fell the contractions but they were not bad at all. 4 hrs later with very little pushing Mason Edward Horrisberger was here. After this labor I told Chris another one could be in the question. I found out why the pushing was so easy, this baby was only 7lbs 2oz., and 18 1/2" long. This was so little compared to Baylie who was 8lbs 11oz and 22" long. Baylie made this labor easy on me. We are just so blessed that everything turned out fine, with all the problems I was starting to have at the end of the pregnancy, but we knew God was watching over everything.
